Lichen, flowers, leaves and all plant matter surrounding the studio offer endless inspiration for detailed studies and still life drawings.
All paintings are on wood panel with oil, an ongoing series that explores the discarded. Lists, photos, newspaper and magazine clippings. The subconscious attachment to a bit of paper , discarded by one and cherished by another.
Use of a sketchbook has been a habit for majority of life; A safe haven for my subconscious to be free.
Every couple of years a zine is produced compiling selected drawings from sketchbooks.
